Photos Taken with kodak folding camera
These pictures give a good idea of what the image is gonna look like from the camera.
A great resource to reference on how 3d printing has interacted with photography in the past.
This camera is more similar to the camera I'm building than the previous one but it's missing the upcycling part. Looking at this project I can find out some of the previous mistakes and solutions people found to the problem of 3d printing a camera. My camera however is more focused on being much cheaper and accessible.
This adapter is used as a reference for the design of the adapter using a digital camera to capture the full image circle with a digital sensor.
Why large format is so important
This page goes into detail on why the large format is so sought after and why it's so important. The combination of the process along with the depth and image characteristics make these images so appealing.
This forum goes into depth about why large format photos provide so much more depth of field compared to regular digital cameras.
This depth creates much more 3d looking images that make subjects pop and provide a more life-like look.
Packaging designer's book of patterns
I have this book physically.
Using this book as a reference for creating efficient packaging for my camera kit.
Lomography Diana Booklet (I have this in real life)
This is a booklet focusing on photography using a Lomography camera. I'm using this as a reference because the Lomography ideals of experimentation and photography align a lot with my project. Along with ideas the photo styles align a bit with them too. The booklet has tons of square photos printed on regular non-glossy paper.
Lomography also promotes lots of older cameras that aren't used by many people which also aligns with my project.
Lomography Konstructor Camera (I have this in real life)
A Diy camera kit created by Lomography which includes an instruction booklet and photo booklet. I wanted to use this as a reference because Lomography ideals align with my project. Along with that, this kit was my inspiration for coming up with the idea for my thesis.
