Back !

After a long and much-needed break, I'm back to shooting with this large format contraption. Along with shooting, I have some more ideas and plans for upgrades to the camera. In the future, I will continue to update this blog as progress is made.

Last week I took the camera out and took some long-overdue photos. Behemoth (Binky for short) is the cat pictured above who was kind enough to be my model for some 30 minutes. I meant to take a picture of him with this camera last semester but lost track of time. Probably should have used a flash so I could recover more detail in post but that may have taken away from the charm of it all. For some reason, I couldn't nail focus either. I was shooting with a new lens which was a little different but the classic lens also felt like it suddenly wouldn't focus close enough. Maybe I have to make the bellows longer which would let me focus closer. Remaking the bellows is on my list of things to do anyway so making it longer is not something I'm opposed to. Anyways here are some more Binky pics from the camera and as always more are on the photos page!
